You've probably got a lot of questions. Some of them may well be
answered here. If not, contact us and we'll answer them for you!
What if it's too hard for me?
One of our most common questions! Our instructors will
push you hard but you will be monitored constantly to ensure you
can successfully complete the week and still reach your
goals. The supportive atmosphere created by our team and your
camp mates will soon remove your fears. If you have the
willpower and want to lose weight and get fit then you are
definitely coming to the right place.
Am I already too overweight/old/unfit?
Over the years we have worked with people of all different
shapes, sizes and ages. None of these are a barrier to getting
fitter, in fact, the worse your condition when you start, the more
you will see the immediate benefits. All our activities are
inclusive; the emphasis is on pushing yourself. You won't be
forced to keep up with the fittest group members but you will be
constantly pushed to your own personal limits.
I consider myself pretty fit already, what have I got to
gain?
As mentioned above, the design of the activities is such that
you can be pushed to your limits in every one. Our
instructors are very experienced in spotting if you're slacking off
and will push and motivate you all the way. As talented athletes
themselves they will also be happy to share training advice and
tips with you.
How do I get to the site?
All details are provided in your confirmation details upon
booking.
What kit do I need?
A detailed kit list is provided upon booking along with details
and advice on where to buy bits you may need. All specialist
equipment is provided so the likelihood is that you already own
most of what you require.
What time does the first day start and the last day
finish?
Day one commences at 6pm but you are welcome to arrive from 5pm
to get settled in. If you are flying into either Belfast airport we
advise a flight which arrives by 2pm at the latest. Day
seven finishes with final weigh-in at around 1pm.
Can I come for part weeks/weekends?
Yes, but not as part of an ordinary bootcamp week or detox
weekend. We now offer bespoke fitness holidays which can be
designed to be anything you want them to be. See Tailor Made for
details or join us on one of our Taster days.
Will I have to share a room?
The listed price is based on twin room shared
accommodation. We find this is better for team bonding and
togetherness. If you definitely require your own room this
can be arranged for an extra cost.
Will I be starving?
We don't believe in fad diets or phoney celebrity nutritionists.
Our menu plan has been designed with an emphasis on fresh, local
produce with the perfect nutritional balance for continual
exercise. If anything you'll find yourself more energised than
usual.
Do you cater for special dietary needs?
Yes, if we are informed well enough in advance.
Will I be screamed and shouted at?
No, we are fitness experts and outdoor instructors who are
extremely experienced in motivating, not humiliating. We will
get the best out of you and allow you to constantly surprise
yourself.
What payment methods do you accept?
We ask for a £250 non-refundable deposit to secure your
place on the bootcamp week, with the remaining balance to be paid
four weeks before your course date. All major cards are
accepted for online payment with bank charges added for credit card
transactions. We also accept cheques and bank transfers.
What is your cancellations policy?
We accept that occasionally unforeseen circumstances can
arise. We can sometimes transfer your booking to a
later Bootcamp but charge a transfer fee. If you cancel
within 4 weeks of your camp date we are unlikely to be able to
transfer.
What do I get for my hard earned money?
Seven days, six nights in our modern, stunningly situated
accommodation. All meals and snacks. Up to nine hours per day of
exercise, encompassing a massive range of activities, delivered by
experts. You won't need to bring any money with you.
